Well… Personally, I am. I’ve snacked on a block of Parmesan and it’s not a good post-experience.
Still, I’m pretty sure I’ll do it again.
There’s basically no lactose in properly aged cheese. Too much of it will do a number on your guts regardless.
I always want more parmesan, but I’m embarrassed.

That might not quite be $20 worth, but pound and a half, so .75-ish kilo wedges were about that much at Costco the other day.
They make you suffer for a love of cheese in this distopian hellscape.
Ok that evens out, from the piece on the photo I’d estimated half a kilo, which would be about 11 euro. So .75 would come to 17, which is about 20 dollaroos.
So it’s similar in price.
