But none of it does. Not only has AI failed to give us a warp drive, it’s also failed to do my very simple job for me.

I hate chatbots because they don’t work. If any of this technology actually operated as advertised I would be ecstatic. But none of it does.
Not only has AI failed to give us a warp drive, it’s also failed to do my very simple job for me.
They’re quite good at generating text that sounds reasonably like speech to people. Problem is, that’s not actually useful.
