An excellent suggestion was made to concentrate Iran conversation and posting to this mega thread. Please keep as much as you can here so that the main feed isn’t overburdened by Iran news.

Yes, they were not hesitant to kill thousands in protest even without nukes, why not just give them the ultimate pass like Kim?

Your attempt to change the topic basically recognizes that it would be better if Americans and Israelis didn’t have nukes, yet you want more countries to have them, the sort that not hesitant to kill thousands in protest or launch attacks against neighbors in fit of rage. I do not live in such a world, but I definitely do not want to live in yours.

Stop trying to whitewash dictators and terrorists and try to claim they can be trusted with nuclear weapons, shill. Sorry you hate people who are more consistent than you and also call out the US and Israel on this instead of being the other side of the flip coin of being one of their fanatics.

As you have not provided a solution to get rid of all [thing], his reason [to also do thing] are just as valid as yours.

Your logic is so bad it could be used to rationalize doing any horrible thing as it cannot be completely eliminated (hint, almost nothing can be).

Sorry, I have the source but it is the worst authoritarian of all. Iran themselves.

And by the way I am not going to engage with you any longer since you are mentally deranged to think “Kim is totally fine”. Shooting down people who are escaping from the country is fine? You are proving yourself to be just like the MAGA nuts.

Every country is authoritarian, whats your point? even my country has nukes and thousands of people have died in anti government protests, I dont get the co relation? First america will put illegal sanctions and when public unrest is created either people overthrow the govt or govt suppresses the protest forcefully. Who is at wrong here?

I frankly dont care, most of those stories about north korea are sensationalized, and even if he doesnt allow people to leave who cares tbf? he doesnt bomb random countries like america tho

I understand how bad the world order when the USA can do whatever the heck they want is bad, but we can’t act like the Ayatollah is a martyr. The power is always bad, not exclusively when it oppresses us

He is a martyr, objectively. Does that mean the Iranian government is “good”? No, but he was murdered by the US/Israel, knowing full well the risks to his own life. Now Iran is in a war of national survival, so it isn’t just pro-government people but also the fence-sitters who will consider him a martyr. The hard-core opposition will increasingly look like quislings as the nazi pedophile forces indiscriminately bomb Iranian cities.

It causes new info to be buried and not seen on the front page, and a lot of the discussion also goes unseen due to the high number of comments.

I’m sure he wants to, but I think everyone is telling him no. If we nuke Iran, Iran is free to nuke us. I’m not sure if they would. But if they do, we will likely see actual WWIII. Or at least the US’ allies dogpiling Iran. I don’t know if Iran has enough allies that would join the war.

Don’t count on US allies coming to save your ass.

You’re fucking up everything and arguing to invade our lands. Then the gall to assume we’ll help you do the same in other countries? Go fuck yourself. (Not aimed at you personally, don’t worry, I’m sure you understand.)

Iran nuking US would be… interesting. Murica (the bad parts) would have a chance to see what they rain down on the rest of the world. Hurts differently when it’s your own cities.

Do NOT pull us into your shitty mess. I would be tempted to cheer on the other side.

Back in my army days, every chopper that went down, whether in a warzone or not, was deemed an “accident” or “mechanical failure”. Once two choppers went down and we were told they just crashed against each other, lol. I don’t believe these “accidents” anymore, maybe 1 out of 10 cases but this is just a lie to keep morale up, I’m positive.

Bigger picture… US and China are going to war 2027-2028 (at least that’s what everything intelligence suggest for Taiwan).

Iran and Venezuela supplied China with large quantities of oil, removing them from the picture now means China is much easier to choke for Oil needs ending the war quicker.

That also makes senss. Its a win win win really for trump AND all american politicians. Thats why, almost all critique about the terrorist attacks on Iran are about process. “Uhhh he didnt get the correct stamp to do this” and not about the material reality of this move
