We have a few I’ve seen around. one in particular was seemingly bought, vinyl wrapped, and parked in a busy lot to advertise some restaurant that’s not even nearby 🤦♂️ It probably wouldn’t even start now. It hasn’t moved in several months and there’s no chargers near it in that lot lol
It’s probably dead
I’m quite confident it’s dead, and that makes my heart happy
My fiance saw her first one in the wild today. I wasn’t able to photo my first one, as we were both driving and I’m different directions.

Especially from the front or back. It’s hard to even comprehend that it’s a car. I was very shocked the first time I saw one.
They look awful. Slightly less awful when wrapped, but I heard that Tesla fucked up the bonding surface for wraps or something so they’re basically unremovable, but will deteriorate with age.
Depends on what color they wrap it in. Sometimes it exaggerates the panel gaps, er, I mean sometimes it really shows off Teslas commitment to quality
its also a 7000lb death trap and charcuterie machine.
especially when they WRAP the travesty. the cybertrucks height gives just enough cover where its difficult to see the embarrasment of a driver, unless you were very close.
I’m both glad and disappointed I haven’t seen one in Europe. I feel like I’m missing out on a circus tour.
They trigger a special gag reflex you didn’t know was there
And a reflex reaction from a specific finger.
It makes me laugh. The side view driving amongst other vehicles is especially funny.
Every time I see one I find something else that makes it revolting. It’s absolutely horrific.
Watch them hit a bump and almost fall apart.
There is one in our area, but I only ever saw it parked and empty until recently. When I finally ran across it on pulling out of a parking lot, I got a look and the driver and he looks like a bootleg RFK Jr.
oh yea old people desperate for attention buy it, on reddit on the very same sub, people bought it for the attention it brings, and its usually an older guy, gen x types.
I was in the Irvine area a while ago and the parking lot had not one, not two, but three cyber trucks. Each one was more of a surprise than the last.
I see them fairly often in Houston, but I’ve yet to see more than one at a time. Maybe all the dipshits around here went in on one together, and it’s some kinda time-share situation.
It seems like some places allow renting them (IIRC, the one that was set on fire at a hotel (Vegas?) was one).
I’m in a very liberal city and I have seen a few of these with business logos plastered all over them. It’s like they are advertising that you shouldn’t use their business.
Yup. There’s an urgent care near me that has a wrapped swastikar out front. I think I would rather die than go there.
Just because you own a tesla doesn’t mean you are a nazi. Many people don’t keep track of politics and many others bought them before they found out who he is.
Just because you own a tesla doesn’t mean you are a nazi.
He’s been openly nazi since before the cybertruck came out.
I guess next you’ll say it’s cool to wear swastikas because some people don’t know history.
Your comparison doesn’t track. A better example would be driving BMW or Mercedes. Which we still drive today despite their nazi past.
Nope. Your point was that people don’t know. My comparison was fine, Nazi simp.
Sure, yes, all call anyone that doesn’t agree with me a nazi. Have fun living in a deattached world! My point isn’t that Elon musk isn’t bad, my point is that not everyone is nazi just because you own a tesla.
My point is that if you bend over backwards to defend Nazis, it’s weird and everyone is right to call you on it.
-
anyone that has a tesla is nazi
-
anyone who has two brain cells knows that is not true
-
I dont have time to argue with someone with two braincells who can’t understand what I’ve said
And I don’t have time to argue with someone who defends patrons of Nazis who therefore are Nazis whether knowingly or not
-
You’re not wrong… if you’re talking about the model 3 or the X or older models. If you purchased a cybertruck then you are past the point where you can say that you bought it before he went crazy/nazi.
If someone has 100k to piss away on Musk’s stupid wankpanzer, then they probably have a different car that they can drive if they’re that serious about refusing to identify with a Nazi. Drive that car instead and let the silver trash can topper sit in your garage. That way it won’t die in the rain.
Surely it’s more than 3k. I see quite a few in Canada.
Looks like it’s more like 46k as of a few months ago
What the fuck? How are there ~46,000 people this fucking stupid??
they should all go live in a remote town in a flyover state.
I could point to a random small town on a map anywhere in the deep south and get you a whole town full of people with similar energy. They’re just too fucking broke to buy anything like this.
Nazis. Each and every last one of them. Easy to identify.

There’s an appalling number of local dipshits in Austin. I see a couple wankpanzers a day.
Quicksilver googlr search shows 11700 sold so far
Ive seen at least 4 or 5. Kinda wild there are that many suckers driving around
I feel like I have seen way too many on the road for only 3000 to have been sold.
Maybe I have a lot of dipshits living near me?
Same. I see one everyday minimum. I saw two in one parking lot once. I have probably seen up to 5 in a day before.
I am pretty sure the 3,000 figure was the initial founders edition and that the figure should be revised now. some asshole in my town had one of the original ones though I’m pretty sure
Gotta be hyperbole, or an old post. Google says 39,000.
Can you imagine. Putting together an entire assembly line. Logistics. Parts outsourcing. From the die stamp machine with tolerances of 0.0001" to make those shitty stainless steel bodies to how many rolls of toilet paper there should be in each stall, or the type of soap in the luch room. All those intricate details. To only sell 39,000 of those shitboxes.
I’ve seen one in the non capitol or metro area in Canada I live in, though there is money here since it’s nice. So yeah I figured there must be more out there than the post said. First one I’ve seen in person, it look liked it belonged in a B movie, I couldn’t help but laugh. I do think it’s a good thing for people try and pollute less of course, just not want to give more money to the Nazi born having already won the game of life.
You are lucky. I see several every day.
Musk is defunding the EPA. Giving 100 grand to that turtlesack doesn’t count as “polluting less” in my book.
Red car syndrome? Or maybe you live in a better off area? I don’t think you’re gonna see too many of these dumpsters in rural areas, so wealthier suburban/urban areas is where they’ll be. Even in my small town about 90 miles from a metro area there are at least two I see regularly. They really stand out.
you do indeed see them in rural areas if you live in a blue state
I saw three separate dumpsters while driving somewhere not too long ago. Within 20 minutes I saw 1/1000th of those jalopys. 0.1% seems like a small amount but I feel like it was too much.
I live in Toronto, they are fucking everywhere. teslas in general but I see cybertrucks daily. A lot of dbags around here i guess.

It’s illegal in the EU, I don’t think Canada has that same ban
It’s not like the EU actively needed to do anything to not allow them. They are just so shit, they were basically spawn kills for the EU.
No ban, street safety rules. Quite likely that canada is a bit more lenient there, having more space and all.
