Imagine thinking that one Clarence Thomas is less corrupt than thousands of doctors.

Coming from Vance, I like how the logic underlying the statements presumes a profit motive undermines the result.

Hahah I’m enjoy the image of him trying to sign up and finding out his names already taken, having to add underscores and finally attempting it with a number as well.

Pretty sure he did that on purpose so he can tell the public how awful and disgusting he thinks Bluesky is in the future.

Nah. This seems a transparent attempt to gather political good will. The Nazis have whipped our ass with their social-media ground game. This is simply another tentacle.

Por que no los dos? There’s no downside for him, either he can spread his hate there and win or he gets banned and screams and whines and wins

They used to avoid the Mainstream Media, preferring their own bought and paid for Conservative Propaganda Machine, but that changed during HiterPig’s first term.

Suddenly, news outlets were excited to have MAGA Nazis come on their shows to spew lies and propaganda, with no challenge. They allowed the Traitors to use their airwaves to abuse the relationship that news orgs had built with their viewers. Viewers, trusting that relationship, often believed the lies, and gave MAGA undeserved credibility.

If they were going to let those jackals in their airwaves, the news media had the responsibility to use that opportunity to challenge the lies, and expose the MAGA Nazis for the traitors they are, but the media did nothing.

Yeah, I think it’s another step after the recent push of how “BlueSky is dying” because they actively reject assholes, that was going on last week.

The biggest delusion in modern society is thinking that a Twitter-like social media network is “the place to go for common sense political discussion and analysis”.

I keep hearing the media repeat this bullshit. Twitter is not and never was the “public square”. It’s a place for morons to be morons and heart each other for being morons.

Makes me wonder if the actual public squares, sans idealization, were also a place for morons to be morons and heart each other for being morons.

This looks like some good sealioning. He probably didn’t write it himself. I think he was playing to his fans and trying to discredit Bluesky and its community guidelines. I wonder if Musk paid him, or if he did this on his own.

Remember when Twitter - even before leon bought it - decided Trump was too important to ban, even tho he was violating the shit out of their TOS…

Does the PBC that owns BlueSky have an official stance on whether political officials can be “too big to ban?”

I’m already seeing reminders on bluesky to JUST block and ignore them. The right wingers who tried invading Bluesky earlier got bored and left cause they all got blocked.
