Googled, and apparently, according to authorities, at least one boy has been charged with 10 counts under Louisiana’s law for distributing AI-generated nude images. So, yes, the school wasnt just wrong here. They were utterly incompetent. Someone, more than one someone, needs to be fired.
My daughter would not be in trouble for this, regardless of the school’s reaction.
If this were my child, I would take her out for a burger and milkshake (or whatever she wanted) and buy her something nice. A toy, a game, something like that.
Cool stuff, but that doesn’t fix that. She needs a new school in a different place.
She also needs financial compensations. Ideally in the 10s of thousands. Let her have that money as well, fuck it.

I mean rhe girl moved in with her dad in 2020 and hadn’t been to school since. I imagine she kind of fell through the cracks during covid as far as school goes. All of the adults in that house belong in super jail though.

I’ve been hearing the argument that since it was AI, ‘it’s not real porn’. Which is the slimiest, scummiest argument I’ve seen.
The second slimiest was that the girl deserves to be punished for fighting back after NONE of the adults at school helped her.
Like, if she’d thrown hands right off she probably should have gotten a scolding, but she tried to get the adults to intervene. They’re the ones who made it clear to her that she had to handle it herself. So she did.
She doesn’t even deserve to get suspended for basically defending herself from someone making CSAM of her, let alone expelled. She was in the right and should’ve gotten off scott free, the guy making the CSAM is the one who should’ve been expelled, on top of getting bad-bad charges for it, which he did get charged for it.
